GOD UNDERSTANDS
There are times in my life when I am in the middle of seemingly obvious erroneous acts or situations. The most painful bit is when no one seems to understand or chose not to understand. All every one could do is misunderstand me and judge me instantly without even hearing my point of view/side of the story. My heart bleeds for lack of clarity or peoples misconceptions. Things can be so misconstrued that conclusions are made based on half truth.
These were times I have felt God's love and compassion the most. According to Psalm 139, no part of me is hidden from my heavenly father. So, if no one else knows or cares to know the true and exact picture of things, I am certain, so sure that God knows. When in panic I may have deceived others, HE can not be mocked. HE knows all things. I have made it an habit to run to Him first and quickly too, telling him as it is and allowing Him deal with me before my 'accuser' comes.
By the time Satan get to God to accuse me, God says to Satan, 'I AM FULLY AWARE AND MY DAUGHTER GOT HERE BEFORE YOU, SHE IS NOW FORGIVEN' . Satan falls again while I walk away in victory. This is it my sisters.
God never misunderstands a situation. He knows about it even before it happened. He knows how you have been struggling and battling with stuffs. He knows how much you have been wrestling with your flesh and your soul. He knows everything. When He has not condemned you, you are not. He does by His HolySpirit convicts us of sin so we can repent. He condemns the sin in us because HE is Holy
I so much love the story of the woman caught in adultery (John 8:1-11). She was caught having sex with a married man. This act at the time attracted the death penalty by stoning. She was brought to the centre and presented to Jesus to affirm her condemnation. Guess what ? Although everybody else stood in judgement and couldn't wait to bring justice upon her, Jesus looked at her with compassionate understanding and showered her with such great mercy and love.
However, His abounding grace does not provide the platform to sin, but the opportunity to escape His wrath and fierce judgement by repenting and turning away from sin. He told that woman caught in the act to go and sin no more. He further said in Hebrew 10:26-27
" For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgement, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries."
God's love is so rich, so pure and so strong. It is so marvellous and true. Take hold of His mighty love and plunge in by the blood of Jesus. When He pardons, He also forgets because of the blood of His son.
What are you passing through that no one seems to understand but rather all have stood in judgement against you, take it to Jesus, tell Him your story and watch Him pour His love and compassion on you. You too can hear these words
"“Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”
